First choose a suitable time from our Timetable. This will take you to the Momence website where you fill out your details to create an account.
From there you choose which options suit best. Casual bookings if you're not sure or short on time or class packs if you want to save a bit of money.
After that feel free to download the Momence App to book directly or again book via the website.
It's not just about being fit. It's about understanding the Pilates method from the inside out, and being safe on the equipment. Most of the people in group classes have been doing Pilates for a while, and they will tell you it's a journey of understanding. Even the simplest exercises require strong technique on the reformer. However that does not mean that it might be too hard for you. Everyone has to start somewhere and with our clear and safe instructions as well as modifications for those that might not be "there yet" we will make this a workout available for everyone.
If you are still not sure contact us for private instruction, this way we can assure your success every step of the way before you join the group.
2 times per week consistently - Excellent for toning and maintenance
3 times per week - The ideal practice
4-5 times per week - Incredibly fast and effective results
*As with any workout plan, proper water intake and nutrition count the most!
In less than one month you will feel a difference and hopefully even see one. Everyone responds differently but wonderful changes will happen if you commit to doing Pilates every week!
"In 10 sessions you'll feel the difference, in 20 sessions you'll see the difference, and in 30 sessions you'll have a whole new body.”
-Joseph Pilates
Comfortable clothing that allows for movement (leggings, crop top etc). No zippers. Grip socks are highly recommended and sold in the studio.
Also a small sweat towel is recommended and of course WATER!
We recommend non slip reformer mats as well. You can bring your own or purchase one in the studio. A towel works too.
Yes of course! If you have a good level of fitness and are used to Pilates workouts please just let Annie know about your situation. Otherwise why not start with a Private class or contact Annie on info@kaiapilates.com.au for a chat to see what suits best.
We have only 4 reformers available and love it that way. Small classes allow us to fully be there for each and everyone of you. This means with higher demand we book fast so if you miss out you will automatically be added to the waitlist.
From here should one of the booked clients cancel the class you will hopefully be added to the class (if you're next in line). You can then agree to join or deny, either way please let us know.
Depending on availability there is an option for us to open up a new class time for that day. In that case you will be notified by sms and/or email with an invitation to join.
Yes absolutely! We don't have a receptionist however feel free to contact Annie on info@kaiapilates.com.au to arrange for a chat.
Absolutely not! In fact professional male athletes like boxers, swimmers, basketballers, football players etc. do Pilates frequently. It is the best way to injury proof yourself and in general get a good foundation of functional strength.
Pilates is for EVERYONE!
Showers and toilets are available to all of you. So if you have to go to work or just want to freshen up after the class it is all there. Just bring a towel!
